It's easy to get wrapped up in the beauty of materialistic things, especially in the world we live in. Let's not forget that beauty really is within. A woman (or man) who has all the money and fashion in the world and doesn't show kindness or humility can be quite ugly when compared to a sincere, good intentional heart. Have a beautiful day. Massage, Rinse and Air Dry

Just wanted to share with you all a little piece of hair heaven.  This product was recommended to me by my co-worker.  Shea Moisture's conditioner is good for all hair types.  If you have an oily scalp like me then just apply to your ends.  Organic and full of yummy smelling ingredients, this definitely made my hair shiny and soft. I was looking for something to liven up my hair.  This winter my hair became dry and brittle (mostly my ends).  Even after a trim, most conditioners didn't work for me.  For ten bucks at Target, I decided to try this and I love it.  I even purchased another conditioner, same brand, for my best friend.  It's ingredients are made specifically to volumize and thicken hair.  This product line also includes moisturizers and soap.  Definitely worth checking out.

My love affair with prints

Spring issue magazines are flooded with clothing and accessories of various prints.  Floral, polka dots, stripes, etc.  I absolutely love prints.  They're girly and versatile.  Until I can get a willing photographer so I can post new outfit pics, here are few oldies of yours truly in some of my fave prints:

So, today was a great moment for me.  I started something good for mind and body: jogging.  I haven't jogged in a verrry long time.  Exercising in general is not on my list of fun things to do.  Well, I do walk a lot but let's be for real.  That doesn't really do much for me.  Exercising is essential to living a healthy, balanced lifestyle, or so I'm told =]  I am always seeking ways to put more balance into my somewhat insane-in-the membrane life.  Those who know me, will say I tend to move on from "projects" quickly so lets try to prove them wrong.  I'm going to start off jogging every night.  The scenic view of nyc definitely helps.  Wish me luck!

My current obsession

For those of you who don't know, Pinterest is a site that allows you to share common interests by uploading and pinning photos of things that inspire you.  Photography, clothing, quotes, cars and artwork are some of the things you'll find on the site.  I use it to tag recipes I want to try, design my dream home and save outfit ideas I'd like to re-create. I spend way more time pinning than I should but ahh it makes me happy.
